Pokemon GO’syearly celebration of fashion is here and along with it, a bunch of new research tasks and timed research.
Niantic has released the next stage of the season-longMisunderstood Mischiefresearch, there’s the new “Finding Your Voice” Meloetta-focused Special Research and the Fashion Week Event-exclusive Timed Research.
Many of the tasks issued as part of these different pieces of research are commonplace forPokemon GOplayers now, however, there are one or two that are certainly causing some difficulty.
So, to help you out, here’s how to take a snapshot of your buddy for both the Finding Your Voice and Misunderstood Mischief Special Research.
Where Will I Encounter This Task?
This task is found in both the Finding Your Voice and Misunderstood Mischief Special Research.
It’s the first task of the first step in Finding Your Voice and also the first task of the seventh step in Misunderstood Mischief. Completing these tasks rewards players with 1000 xp and a Furfrou encounter respectively.
How to take a snapshot of your buddy for Finding Your Voice and Misunderstood Mischief Special Research
The first step to this task is to simply ensure you have a buddy Pokemon set. This can be done by clicking your trainer icon in the bottom left, then clicking your avatar - from there, you’ll be able to set your buddy.
Following this, you’ll need to hit the “PLAY!” button, found underneath your buddy. This will bring up the camera screen.
From there, you’ll need to scan an open space until petals appear, like the ones in the image below.
Once the petals have appeared, you’ll be prompted to press anywhere on the screen to make your buddy Pokemon appear.
When your Pokemon has appeared on screen, a camera icon can be found at the bottom, in the centre of the display. Pressing this when your Pokemon is in the shot will be enough to help you successfully complete the task!
