How To Increase Friendship With Pokemon in BDSP
Below are a number of ways players can raise their friendship with their Pokemon.
Soothe Bell
The Soothe Bell will double the amount of happiness your Pokemon gain through the following interactions so it’s vital to have.
To get one, head out on Route 212 and find the mansion, enter, turn left and open the second door. Inside will be a maid, speak to her about Pokemon and she will give you a Soothe Bell as thanks.
Party Placement
Probably the easiest way to gain friendship with a Pokemon is to prioritise whomever you want to bond with and to place them in the top slot of your party.
This tip can be a little hit and miss, as long as you win the battles you make your Pokemon participate in, your friendship will increase, but if you lose - expect to lose some of that progress.
Being able to walk with your Pokemon was a welcomed feature at launch, not only is it adorable but you may actually bond with your Pokemon this way too.
To walk with a Pokemon, open the party screen and select the creature you wish to have by your side, there will be an option to walk together, select it and you’re done!
