Although side quests might not be as meaty as campaign missions inHonkai Star Rail, they are pretty important for earning rewards and adding up to yourTrailblaze Level, which is the primary requirement for resuming the campaign adventure.

Sensitive Beings is one of the early side quests in Honkai Star Rail that features almost no combat scenes, but it has four Unearthly Marvel puzzles, where you need to go through a path made of different blocks. The main rule is you should go over each block only once before reaching the final block, and you do need to step on each block at least once, which means you’re able to’t skip any of them. The puzzle does seem easy at first, but as you proceed with the mission, more difficult versions appear.
Sensitive Beings Adventure Mission Walkthrough
Before getting into details, keep in mind thatSensitive Beings features three parts, and each part becomes available after a daily reset. This means when you complete the first part, you need to wait until daily reset for the next part. So, it is going to take you at least over 24 hours to complete all three parts. Thedaily reset time for Honkai Start Rail is 4 AM in your local time zone.
This mission is activated when you receive a message from a person called"Crackup Conch.“When you answer the message, the first part of the mission becomes available.
Sensitive Beings Part 1
After answering the message, navigate the mission through your Journal and meet Asta in the Master Control Zone at Herta Space Station. Choose the option"I heard you are looking for me?“when talking to Asta to trigger the mission.
She will send you to three different locations marked on your map to listen to certain people’s discussions. Once you visit all three locations, you will return to Asta to tell all that you have heard. Now, she will ask you to go to a room inSupply Zoneand interact with a terminal. On your way to this room, there will be two enemies, but you can avoid fighting them by just running away toward your destination.
However, since the first door needs interaction to get opened, you might eventually have to fight with the first enemy, which is an antimatter legion.The best line-up for a potential fight is Dan Heng, your own character, March 7th, and any other character with a combat class of Fire, Lightning, Imaginary, or Quantum.
Solving The First Unearthly Marvel Puzzle
Once you enter the room, you will see aglowing block floating in the air. Interact with it to start the first puzzle. The image above showcases the order of your movement on the blocks towards the other end of the room, where you will interact with the terminal.

Solving The Second Unearthly Marvel Puzzle
After interacting with the terminal, come back to the door to meet a maintenance person. After a discussion, a new version of the same puzzle will appear again.Solve the puzzle based on the images aboveand interact with the terminal again. This time around, you will spot dark orbs on top of two blocks. Those are actually teleport doors. If you interact with one, you will spawn at the location of the other orb. After getting the data from the terminal, come back to the maintenance person to finish the first part of the quest.
Sensitive Beings Part 2
After hitting the daily reset time, you can find the second part of the quest in your journal. Similar to the final section of the first part, you will need to go to the same room in Supply Zone again. Meet the maintenance person and start solving the new puzzle.
Solving The Third Unearthly Marvel Puzzle
The third puzzle doesn’t have teleport orbs, but it features certain walls between blocks that limit your movement options. If you follow the path drawn in the images above, you can easily solve this puzzle as well. Once you are at the other end of the room, collect data from the terminal and discuss it with the maintenance person to finish the second part.
Sensitive Beings Part 3
After one more daily reset, check your journal for the third part of this mission. Go to the same location at the Supply Zone again and start the new puzzle after talking to the maintenance person.
Solving The Fourth Unearthly Marvel Puzzle
The images above show the path to solving the final puzzle. This one includes both walls and teleport orbs, which is why it could be a bit challenging to solve it on your own.
Once you interact with the terminal for the last time, talk to the maintenance person again, and then go meet Asta at Master Control Zone to finish the entire quest and receive your rewards.
