With the release ofHonkai Star Railand its generous beginner banner that guarantees' players to obtain one 5* character within less than 50 pulls. Many players are leaning on their respective 5* characters to guide them through the game. One of these potential 5* characters is Bronya, the daughter of Belobogs leader. At first, when compared to more damage-focused characters like Himeko, Bronya may seem underwhelming comparatively. But you will find that she is an invaluable support character that can greatly increase a team’s damage output.

Bronya is a powerful support character able to give her allies additional turns, increase their damage and cleanse them of debuffs and DoT’s with her Skill. While her Ultimate can provide increases to the whole teams ATK and Crit DMG. Her abilities make her a valuable unit and should be put on high priority on any account, keep reading, and we’ll tell you just how to build her!
Best Light Cones
Bronya is a Path of Harmony unit focusing on supporting her team through her aforementioned buffs. As such she will be running Path of Harmony Light Cones to further buff and influence her team.
But The Battle Isn’t Over:
The Standard 5* Path of Harmony and Bronya’s signature Light Cone. “But the Battle Isn’t Over” Increases theEnergy Regeneration of its user by 10%and grants the team1 skill pointwhen they use their Ultimate which can be triggeredevery 2 uses of their Ultimate. Furthermore, When its wearer uses their skill it willincrease the damage of the next ally in the turn order by 30%.
Bronya’s Skill already grant’s the ally she uses it on a damage increase and forces their turn to comedirectly after hers(even if they already had a turn in this cycle) making it very easy to dictate who gains the buff from this light cone which will stack with her own and dramatically increase the characters DMG.
Carve The Moon:
A 4* Light Cone. “Carve The Moon” will randomly apply one effect to theparty when the battle starts and when the wearer takes their turn, the effects being as follows:
Triggering one effect willremove the last oneand the newly triggered effectcannot be the same as the last onemeaning the effect will always be something different each time. However, each of the effects are extremely useful so the RNG of it isn’t too frustrating.
Memories of the Past:
Another 4* Light Cone. “Memories of the Past” won’t provide party wide buffs. Instead, it increases the wearersbreak effect by 28%.Furthermore, it will grant the wearer4 energy when they attack. This will help Bronya to break the shields of enemies withWind weaknessesand build her Ultimate her faster which she can use to buff her team.
Bronya actually has the unique ability to gain100% Crit Rateif built for it. Although her Basic attack is her only method of inflicting damage, it can pack quite the punch.
Past and Future:
Last on the list, “Past and Future” (another 4*) is a very simple Light Cone that offers a small taste of the aforementioned 5* Light Cone. Similar to “But the Battle Isn’t Over” This Light cone will when the wearer uses their Skill, increase thedamage of the next ally in the turn order by 16%. Which Bronya can easily take advantage of because of how her Skill works.

Best Relics
The Crit DMG increase from Bronya’s Ultimatescales off of Bronya’s own Crit DMG, so players should prioritize that when building her. After that players should focus onSpeed, Break efficiency, and ATK(In that Order.) Here are the sets you may look for.
4-Piece Thief of Shooting Meteor:
Thief of Shooting Meteor focuses on increasing the wearer’s Break effect. It’s 2-Piece bonus increases itsbreak effect by 16%and the 4-Piece increases it byanother 16% and grants the wearer 3 energy when they cause Weakness Breakon an enemy. As mentioned before, Bronya’s Basic attack can be made to pack a huge punch and this set will allow her to quickly break the shields of her opponents.
4-Piece Eagle of Twilight Line:
Eagle of Twilight Line is the dedicated Wind DMG set of Honkai Star Rail. Its 2-piece bonus increasesWind DMG by 10%. Meanwhile, the 4-Piece bonus willadvance the wearer’s turn forward by 25%when they use their ultimate. This is useful as it can even offer Bronya more turns in a cycle as you’ll be using her Ultimate a lot. She can use her advanced turn to then give other characters more turns.

2-Piece Fleet of the Ageless:
Fleet of the Ageless increases its wearer’sMax HP by 12%which won’t offer Bronya much aside from survivability. However, when the wearer’s Speed reaches120 or higherit will additionallyincrease all allies' ATK by 8%which will be an incredibly useful buff for the team and contribute to Bronya’s supportive role.
2-Piece Sprightly Vonwacq:
Sprightly Vonwacq will increase the wearer’sEnergy regeneration by 5%and will also advance their turn forward by 50% upon entering battle if their Speed reaches 145 or higher. A Turn that Bronya can then use to give to other characters if need be.
2-Piece Celestial Differentiator:
This set will increase the wearer’sCrit DMG by 16%and when the wearersCrit DMG reaches 120% or higher, theirCrit Rate will be increased by 60% for their first attack. As mentioned, Crit DMG is a very important stat for Bronya and will increase the Crit DMG buff of her Ultimate.

Best Teams
Bronya is such a versatile character that it is difficult to choose a specific “best team” for her as has thepotential to fit into any team. However, Bronya worksparticularly well on teams with Hard carrieswho are able to sweep an entire team, such as the Path of Destruction Trailblazer. Bronya paired with Tingyun will dramatically increase the damage of whoever they are buffing allowing them to nuke their opponents with ease. Of course, it’s worth having at least one healer or shielder in a team at all teams such as Natasha or March 7th.
But as mentioned before, Bronya is an extremely versatile and valuable character that can benefit any and all teams you put her on.
