Demon(s) In Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc Explained
Thanks toAkaza, Gyutaro, and Daki, for making ourDemon Slayer season 2a memorable one. But it’s just a start. The following season will introduce two new demons, Hantengu and Gyokko, who are even more potent than Gyutaro and Daki. But both the demons are less powerful than Akaza.
Hantengu holds the position of upper rank Four, while Gyokko holds the position of upper rank Five in Twelve Kizukis. Both demons make their appearance in Swordsmith Village Arc. After the defeat of Gyutaro and Daki, Muzan is reluctant to get rid of theDemon SlayerCorps by any means necessary. So, he summons all the remaining upper-rank demons and sets Hantengu and Gyokku on a mission to wipe out the Swordsmith Village completely. But after an intense battle, both the demons get slain.
Some Details About Hantengu
Hantengu is a demon with a poor personality and hideous appearance. He is short in height, has a skeletal body, and is covered in veins and wrinkles. He has two horns and a large bump on his head. Hantengu can mostly be seen in the crouching position.
Hantengu’s powers speak quite the opposite of how he appears. He has a special Blood Demon Art using which he can create four exact copies of himself, and all these copies have the same strength as that of the original Hantengu. Despite looking worn out and old, Hantengu holds immense speed, and his body is durable enough to bear the harmful attacks easily.
Some Details About Gyokko
Gyokko’s appearance clearly speaks that he is a demon. His body is pale white, and multiple small hands have grown out of him. Two mouths have replaced his eyes, and the original eyes are located vertically, one on the forehead and the other on his actual mouth. Gyokko seems like he is growing out of a porcelain vase.
Gyuokko is a mighty demon and has killed over 15 Hashiras in his lifetime. His Blood Demon Art allows him to create multiple pots in various places in the vicinity, and he can teleport in any of the pots to dodge the attacks. These pots also allow him to trap things inside them, even if they are pretty large in size. Gyokko can summon aquatic lifeforms which attack the opponent in a deadly way.
