With constant updates and fixes to the gameplay experience, Arrowhead Game Studios is making sure that things remain seamless and enjoyable.
The game’s latest updates plan on keeping this spirit alive, and players are going to enjoy the latest changes being made to the game’s core systems. While this update appears to be minor according to the devs, a few changes hit the heart ofHelldivers 2’score gameplay loops.
What can players expect from the latestHelldivers 2update?
Based on theofficial patch notespublished by the devs, two major changes are going to hit players at random. Planets are now going to have certain hazardous and unexpected environments, from the likes of fire tornadoes to meteor showers. This will add a twist to the usual PvE content players expect fromHelldivers 2.

Furthermore, Eradicate missions are getting a slight overhaul. These will require squads to earn more kills, keeping in mind, that enemies may spawn faster and more frequently. Naturally, these missions will now likely take twice the time to complete, compared to earlier runs.

Finally, stratagems and weapons are getting some balance changes. While these aren’t massive changes, the impact of the same will be seen in the long run as players experiment with different playstyles and observe the skill-ceiling switch up a bit.
