One ofHelldivers 2’s main community features is that of the Major Orders — galaxy-wide orders straight from Super Earth command that all Helldivers share. Sometimes, these end in tragic defeat, like our valiant efforts against theAutomatonsduring therecent Defend Campaign. Sometimes, the community rallies together and completes the Major Order in record time, like the recentliberation of Veldfrom theTerminid menace.

The newest Helldivers 2 Major Order is a bit different from the previous 2, as its win condition can’t simply be completed ahead of time, leaving players a bit apprehensive as to what the next few days hold in store. Major Order Objectives & Rewards
Hold Heeth & Angel’s Venture
The new Major Order is to ensure that bothHeethandAngel’s Ventureare under Super Earth control when the order expires. Currently, this feels a bit like a trap, as the wording on this Major Order is subtly but importantly different from previous Major Orders.
Unlike the previous ‘Liberate Veld,’ which had a very clear objective that could be accomplished before the allotted time for the order, this new order specifies that Heeth and Angel’s Ventureneed to be under Super Earth control by the time the order expires.
At the time of writing, both Heeth and Angel’s Venture are 100% liberated, which is causing a bit of apprehension in our Helldiver forces — especially when combined with the language in our Briefing for the Major Order (included below).
Major Order Briefing
Terminid spores have engulfed Heeth and Angel’s Venture, spawning hordes of Terminids that overwhelmed our colonial militias. Clearly, the bug hive instinct oriented their mindless expansion towards dishonoring the memory of those who fought to free these planets.
Your fellow Helldivers paid for these lands with their lives. We cannot lose them now. Hold the planets until SEAF reinforcements arrive.
Major Order Rewards
Like the previous Major Order, the reward for keeping Angel’s Venture and Heeth under Super Earth control will be45 Medalsto all Helldivers — quite a bounty for a seemingly already achieved goal.
When Does The Major Order End?
Since the objective requires both planets to be under Super Earth control when the Major Order expires, itcannot be completed earlylike the previous ‘Liberate Veld’ Major Order.

What Makes This Major Order Tricky?
It’s A Waiting Game
Since the start of the Major Order,both planetshave been100% liberated, which is giving many players a false sense of victory (and the rest a bit of anxiety). Asbeloved as Game Master Joel is to the community, he could, at any moment, initiate a Terminid surge mere hours away from the order’s expiration.
The language of the Major Order is that these planets arealreadyseeing hordes of Terminids engulf these planets, but since the planets started off (and continue to be) 100% liberated, it almost feels like we’re being intentionally lied to —Super Earth wouldn’t do that, would they!?
Itcouldbe a bug (and not the kind we like to shoot). Perhaps the planets were meant to change status when the Major Order began but didn’t for some reason.
Perhaps we’re meant to hold Umlaut Sector — if that falls, Orion Sector becomes the next major battleground, which could open up Heeth and Angel’s Venture to sudden Terminid hordes.
One thing’s for certain: Helldivers will be ready when the call goes out.
