The new era ofOne Piecebegan when the recent generation of Emperors of the Sea was announced in the narrative. Within the new generation, the one character whose terrifying presence has struck fear in the minds ofOne Piececharacters is Marshall D. Teach, also known as the infamous Blackbeard.

Blackbeard’s dream of conquering the world has motivated him to reach a level of success in the pirate world that only a few other characters have been capable of. He has not only fought against some of the strongest opponents but also emerged victorious from every battle except for one, where he faced the most difficult time.
This battle was against one of Vegapunk’s creations, Seraphim. AsOne Piecefans know, the Seraphim are mini clones of former warlords, and the one that challenged Blackbeard was S-Hawk, created in the image of Dracule Mihawk. However, while Blackbeard faced a struggle in front of S-Hawk, Roronoa Zoro, the swordsman of Luffy’s crew was able to take him on with ease.

Blackbeard’s Brawl With S-Hawk
Blackbeard fought the Seraphim inOne Pieceepisode 1087 on the Amazon Lily island. The Marines and Blackbeard Pirates both reached Amazon Lily to capture Boa Hancock. While Marines were ordered to capture Hancock because of the abolishment of the Warlord system, Blackbeard’s intention was to steal Hancock’s Devil Fruit.

However, before Blackbeard could reach Hancock, he faced the demonic miniature version of Dracule Mihawk. By the time Blackbeard could understand who he was, S-Hawk launched a full-blown attack, which, although dodged by the Yonko, left an impression on him. Blackbeard was just trying to understand the situation when he saw another attack flying towards him.
Frustrated and confused,Blackbeard decided to use Blackhole, but it could not phase S-Hawk. This fight not only reflected the dangerous and brutal strength of the Seraphim but also showed a side of Blackbeard that is rarely seen inOne Piece. Many fans even questioned Blackbeard’s status as an Emperor of the Sea.

Is Zoro Stronger Than Blackbeard?
WhileOne Piecefans were just processing Blackbeard’s struggle against S-Hawk, the series dropped another bomber with episode 1105.

The highlight of this episode was the fight between S-Hawk and Zoro, where the Straw Hat’s swordsman showed what he was truly capable of. He not only pushed S-Hawk into a cornerbut also maintained his dominancein the entire fight.
However, this raised some questions in the minds ofOne Piecefans. Zoro’s status as one of the strongest swordsmen in the world falls below Blackbeard’s Emperor status. But he still managed to go toe-to-toe with an opponent, which gave a hard time to the Emperor.

While some fans still supported Blackbeard’s strength, others raised the query about Zoro being stronger than Blackbeard.

The scariest thing about Blackbeard is that he seems extremely weak. The Guy IS a strategic Genius! Ace seemed to dominante the entire fight against him, until he wasn’t Same thing with Law. Blackbeards mannerism, fighting Style and appearance causes you to be the guy in Horror movies who doesn’t believe in Ghosts, who isn’t afraid of the dark and then quickly falls victim to his own arrogance

Bro blackbeard is not a swordsman, Zoro is a swordsman that the reason why he enter the battle

bro right hand man of the future pirate king should atleast be more powerful than a mere younko like jimbe said “I’m a member of the Future King’s crew! Why should I be afraid of a mere Yonko?”

Zoro’s bounty should be increased

Some times power dynamics in op is quite confusing
While these fights might look a little confusing, they never reached a conclusion. Thus, it is hard to say whether Blackbeard would have been able to defeat S-Hawk or not. However, it is safe to say that he will prove himself to be the biggest menace in the history ofOne Pieceand will bring a big change in the finale saga of the series.
