Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl, shares the spotlight with her three brothers inGotham Knightsas they work to defend Gotham City. Taking up the defense of a city as big as Gotham comes with an array of weapons and costumes for the four heroes to choose from, and Batgirl isn’t lacking in costume choices.

Some costumes are strange and surreal, while others suit her like a glove. Regardless of the style, it’s a simple truth that some costumes are better than others.
Armored up for the deadliest situations. Batgirl’s Metal outfit is good for heavy-handed situations, including a full ballistic facemask.

The lacking use of yellow is felt, but the breakup of blacks and purples is done extremely well. Metal is a somewhat out-there design that puts a strange twist on a classic costume.
Ditching Batgirl’s usual color palettes to embrace grays and whites, the Demon outfit stands out as a good-looking nontraditional suit. The draping cloths, curved armor pieces and wrist string wraps invoke a ninja-esque design that wouldn’t look out of place among the League of Assassins.

If this suit, or a direct recoloring of it, had some more Batgirl-styled coloration, it could have ranked much higher.
8Privateer
Pirate-derived in stylization, the Privateer outfit blends Batgirl’s colors and caped crusader silhouette with pre-modern pirate clothing extremely well. The muted tones of the outfit blend well with the old-fashioned suit design.

The main drawback is one shared with most of the non-standard suits in the game, being the costume’s aesthetic disconnect from the modern setting of Gotham City. In spite of that disconnect, the Privateer suit is a fun variant of Batgirl’s usual wardrobe.
Blending more of her original colors than one might expect, Batgirl’s Talon suit takes heavy inspiration from her usual attire. The pink eye netting and metallic bat symbol give this Talon uniform a hint of identity and individuality while maintaining the facets and features of these uniform outfits.

If there’s one thing scarier than being chased by one of the bats, it’s being chased by a Talon.
More regal and fantastical than other Beyond suits, this costume takes Batgirl to the farthest extremes in terms of her design. The horned crests on her head and the flexible metallic material of her suit invokes alien-like imagery, making Batgirl appear otherworldly.

It can prove a bit jarring to see this design in the modern-day setting, but seeing this suit come to life in motion against the fog and lighting of the city’s buildings and streets. It’s an absolute beauty of a design.
5Knight Ops
If ever there was a suit for a true emergency, it would be this. The most militaristic and utilitarian suit Barbara has, Knight Ops plays no games with minimal design patterns, straps, buckles and a protective face mask.
The suit embodies more ofBruce’s design philosophy than his proteges', showing that the Bat-family is able to meet his mindset and fill his role in his absence.

Far more in line with what’s expected of a Batgirl suit, with the soft helmet, yellow coloring in more abundance, and added design flair across the outfit’s torso for detail and variety. The Titan suit works well as a Titan-associated Batgirl design, with the visual flair of the outfit going well with other members of the team and their own design queues.
Since Batgirl is working closely withRobin, Nightwing, andRed Hoodin the game, this team-focused suit works well.
A solid design for an early Batgirl, Year One trades out the yellow coloring for orange, and the end result is spectacular. The shades of blue are striking on the simpler uniform, and Barbara’s hair being free-flowing shows that a younger, less experienced Barbara was the one wearing this outfit in-universe.

Seeing a more traditional Batgirl suit in somewhat non-traditional colors is an excellent showcase of iterating on a design working just as well as creating a new design wholesale.
2New Guard
All but perfect for a standard Batgirl outfit, New Guard is a top-tier design with color and materials used that do the silhouette justice in spades. The yellow cape and belt break up the shades of gray with spectacular results, giving players an excellent suit design to travel across Gotham City in.
New Guard for Batgirl is easily one of the best suits in the entire game, and one players should strive to unlock.
1Knightwatch
The absolute best suit for Batgirl, and possibly the best suit in the entire game. Knightwatch blends Barbara’s comic suit with some elements invocative of her suit in Batman Arkham Knight, the conclusion to the originalArkham series, using the purple cape and reflective black materials to create a powerful look for the genius caped crusader.
There’s little else to say that the suit cannot say for itself with its mere presence, and that is the sign of an exceptional suit for an exceptional hero.
