PlayStation’s State of Play has come and gone, and it has brought with it plenty of announcements to enjoy, one of which is the fact thatGod of War Ragnarokis coming to PCs. This isn’t the first game from PlayStation’s exclusive catalogue to make its way onto PCs, and from what we can see, it won’t be the last.

However, the last PC port that came from PlayStation sadly wasn’t received very well by the PC community, but now that Sony has learned from its errors, it is safe to say that this PC port is something to look forward to if you are a fan of theGod of Warfranchise.
God of War Ragnarok Slaughters Its Way Onto PC
Throughout the trailer, plenty of information was revealed about what would beavailable in this version ofGod of War Ragnarok. So far, pre-purchases are available for this title, but its official release on PC will be on September 19th of this year.
During the trailer, it was also revealed that players on PC will be able to utilize unlocked frame rates within the game, which is perfect for those who have mega PCs that can handle such a graphically demanding game while also allowing players to slow it down if necessary.

Along with the ability to unlock the frame rate of the game, the specs of the game have also been revealed during the trailer, as it will allow those who have a Nvidia DLSS 3.7, AMD FSR 3.1, and an Intel Xess 1.3 to run the game smoothly.
One of the final option-related portions of the game that was announced is the fact that the game will support super-ultrawide monitors. This is a huge win for gamers on PC, as they will be able to enjoy the game the way it was intended, but there was one final tease for the end of the trailer.

After the release of the full title, it was announced that PlayStation players would be able to access a free DLC forGod of War Ragnarok, and luckily for PC players, this will be accessible from day one of the game’s release.

Understandably, most players would prefer to play through the main story of the game, and it is highly recommended as it does spoil the story of the game, but to have instant access to a game’s story DLC right from the get-go is a massive boost for PC players.
God of War Ragnarokwas one of the best games of 2022, and it kept its popularity for an entire year until theValhallaDLC was released, which only revived the game’s popularity with those who played it, so it is understandable that it would be the next game to make its way from PlayStation to PC.
