As you may know, the sequel toGod of Waris making its way to the PlayStation 5 next year. A short teaser for thenext installmentof Kratos was showcased at PlayStation PS5 Showcase recently which was a hit among excited fans. Although we only saw a very barebones clip, many of us knew within seconds what was being shown by the haunting music and then the obvious Greek circle symbology. In anticipation ofGod of War 2, we have some Kratos fan-art that will make you wish the game was here sooner than 2021.
Ömer Köse, an award-winning key-art and motion designer from Turkey, has put together an incredibleGod of War"Ragnarok is Coming" poster that is mostly taken up with the serious and imposing face of Kratos. Ömer states that this particular Kratos image is taken from an in-game shot which goes to show how much detail the developers really went into making Kratos. You can see every line on his face, the intensity in his eyes, and the years of fighting taking a toll on his salt and pepper beard. It’s a simple image but it holds so many stories and Ömer has done an amazing job at bringing it to the surface. All that’s left to wonder now is what exactly will take place in the sequel, who will Kratos face, and what will become of Atreus.

If you’re interested in Ömer’s keen eye for detail and impactful design, make sure to check him out over onInstagramfor many more posters ranging fromBreaking Bad, James BondandSpider-MantoThe Avengers and The Witcher.
To see another other pieces of fan art that this time depicts an older Atreus, you can check out Sam Yang who does a bunch of brilliant digital paintings in photoshop. Recently Sam captured Atreus as a fully grown man and Kratos as a much older man in the background – it’s a really stunning piece that you can viewright here. Coming in with some cosplaying adventures is Ibelinn, a talented cosplayer from Norway who mimicked the beautiful style ofGod of War’s goddess Freya and it suffices to say that all her hard work and hours put intothis cosplaytruly paid off. For those of you who are big Kratos fans, you may dig thisclay sculptureof the big man himself done by the incredibly talented Reddit user and artistFlompydompybompythat is crafted with the finest touch and also impeccably detailed.
