Whilehaving a conversationwith Josh Horowitz on theHappy Sad Confusedpodcast, Filoni gave a very subtle response as he joked that the franchise creator could come by anytime as they’re practically renting his building in Skywalker Ranch.

He stated,
We rent the building I work in from George. He has the keys, anyway. He can come right in, hehas the pass.

Whatever he’ll come up with, it will be different. He was always surprising onwhatever he will doand how he would push things.
Although this didn’t entirely clarify fans’ doubts about his return, Filoni is still keeping an optimistic approach to the door open if Lucas has an idea that he wants to push.

What’s more interesting is the iconiclightsaber duels, especially between Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi, which continue to remain fan favorites. Not just that, the movie also did a commendable job of showcasing the complexities of characters.

The movie further gave a satisfying conclusion to the prequel trilogy while setting the stage for the beloved original trilogy. Given that this was the last project that Lucas helmed, it makes it better as the creator himself made efforts to create something that contributed to sustaining the franchise’s iconic legacy.
