Developer miHoYo has finally released the complete lineup of characters for the first phase of the banner coming as part of the 3.6 update inGenshin Impact, which is due to release this week.In a new post on itsofficial Twitteraccount, miHoYo has given fans an insight into what to expect from the upcoming update. While there are two new characters that are coming in this update, notably, neither of them is part of the first phase. Instead, we have two new banners featuring reruns of several popular characters.

The first banner is called The Moongrass' Enlightenment and features one of the most beloved characters in the game,Nahida, as the 5-star character. Nahida was released all the way back in November last year, as part of the first banner in the 3.2 Update. Considering that she is a vessel of the current Dendro Archon, Buer, aka Lesser Lord Kusanali, she is one of the most powerful Dendro characters in Genshin Impact right now. As far as the 4-star characters for the update are concerned, they are Layla, Dori, and Kuki Shinobu.
The second banner is known as the Twirling Lotus, and it features Nilou as the 5-star character. Nilou was released right before Nahida, as part of the 3.1 Update, and she is a Hydro Sword character hailing from the Sumeru region. Her last rerun was around five months ago, so fans have been eagerly waiting for her to get featured again as well. When it comes to the 4-star characters, we will be seeing the same lineup as the other banner, with Layla, Dori, and Kuki Shinobu getting featured.
While both banners are pretty good, it shouldn’t be surprising to see The Moongrass' Enlightenment stealing all the thunder in the upcoming update. Nahida is by far a much more popular character and the presence of really good 4-star characters in the form of Kuki Shinobu and Layla ensures that the banner gives a plethora of good options to players. It will be interesting to see if the banners are able to get rid of the recent lean patch and do as well as earlier banners.
