Genshin Impact’s next update is all set to arrive soon, but fans are already curious to know more about what lies ahead for the game.
The past year has been quite a success for the developers, as the game has surpassed all expectations. The developers are now working on other projects as well. Recently, miHoYo opened an office in Montreal in order to expand its team to work on an action-adventure shooter which was teased back in 2019.
That being said, miHoYo is still prioritizingGenshin Impactand actively working on adding new stuff to the game. The next update of the game is just a week away and it is all set to make a plethora of changes to the game, ranging from the addition of new characters to items, weapons, and much more.

We do know for a fact that the 2.5 Update might include Yae, as some very prominent leakers have hinted towards the same. Moreover, considering that Yae was actually supposed to come much earlier, the 2.5 release doesn’t seem far-fetched.

Speaking of the banner rerun, the theory suggests that whenever there is an Archon release, the character gets a rerun after 4 updates. So, Venti was released during the 1.0 Update and got a rerun during 1.4. Likewise, Zhongli was released during 1.1 and got a rerun during 1.5. By that logic, Raiden Shogun was released during 2.1 so we can expect it to arrive during the 2.5 Update.
It is always believed that miHoYo follows some pattern or the other with reruns, and many times they have turned out to be quite accurate. This one could turn out to be correct as well since the trend seems to have repeated more than once.
