TheGame of Thronesis one of the most incredible TV shows ever to have been made. Adapted by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss from George R. R. Martin’sA Song of Ice and Fire, the series was initially well-received, but the last season was one of the most critically lambasted.

Game of Thrones

From deviating from the source material to a lack of proper character development, fans have found several issues with the ending ofGame of Thrones. This has prompted several fans to create alternate endings for the show, and one of them sees Jamie Lannister as the Queen Slayer, which would have actually been a lot better than the HBO series’ actual ending.

AGame of ThronesFan Ending Is a Lot Better Than Actual Ending

Ever sinceGame of Thronesended in 2019, a plethora of fan fiction and alternate endings have been suggested by fans, who were left massively disappointed by how the series ended. Among the many endings that can be found on the internet, one of them byThink Storyseems to be a lot better than what was eventually shown in the final season of the hit fantasy show.

According to the alternate fan ending, the battle is finally over, and Jamie is on his way to Cersei. However, completely unexpectedly, Ellaria Sand, who was seen imprisoned in the Dungeons, emerged and stabbed Jamie in the chest. Yet, it isn’t Jamie, but Arya using his face to kill the Queen.

While Arya survives, we see the real Jamie and Cersei, where Cersei is celebrating that the battle is won and that she must order the murder of all who were loyal to Daenerys. While Jamie pleads with her, Cersei reveals that there was never a child and that she lied to him, leading to Jamie plunging his sword into her.

Now, as the Kingslayer and the Queenslayer, Jamie’s arch is completed.

Daenerys is The Rightful Heir to the Throne

After Jamie murders Cersei, at the King’s Landing, Daenerys rushes to Jon’s side, who is now dead. As the bystanders surround her, Tyrion tells them of Jon’s heritage and how Daenerys is the true queen now, and her and Jon’s son is the rightful heir to the throne.

As Tyrion kneels before her, others follow suit. Unlike the realGame of Thrones, this fan ending now skips five years later. Daenerys, now the queen, visits the Crypts of Winterfell, which has been rebuilt and is now under Sansa.

There, Jon’s body has been placed next to those of Eddard and Catelyn’s, and we can even catch a glimpse of her son there. She then places her hand on the tomb, waits, and leaves as calls along her son, who is also named Jon.

Not only is this ending better than Westeros choosing a new King, but it is more fulfilling for all the characters involved.
