Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 is out today, introducing a new villain as well as a number of new weapons, throwables, and gameplay improvements that will open up new opportunities for players.

If you have already seen the new season’s trailer, then you know that Chrome is going to play a big role in the next three months in Fortnite. Chrome seems to be the primary power of the new villain in Fortnite, and you will spot this metal’s effect on so many things. You will come across Chrome weapons, Chrome throwables, and Chrome chests.

If you throw a Chrome Splash at yourself, you will gain a full Chrome armor that makes you immune to fire damage for a limited time. Also, you can become a blob if you sprint while Chrome-ified. Once you become a blob, you will move faster with the ability to perform an air dash. Also, this state makes you immune to fall damage.

Now, if you throw a Chrome Splash towards an enemy structure, it will make the structure penetrable, and you can jump into the building.

Moving to weapons, Chapter 3 Season 4 introduces EvoChrome Shotgun and EvoChrome Burst Rifle. The most important feature of these weapons is the fact that they will raise in rarity as you deal damage with them. So, you may simply get a common EvoChrome and promote it to Mythic by deal damage with the weapon to opponents. These weapons can only be grabbed from Chrome Chests.

The new season also replaces Port-A-Fort with Port-A-Bunker. Once you throw down a Port-A-Bunker, you will instantly get a 1x1 structure with reinforced walls and a ramp.

The new season also adds High-security and Low-security vaults as new looting places. However, you will need Vault Keys to be able to loot the Vaults. Vault Keys can be acquired anywhere on the island, and once you acquire one, you will receive a signal for the location of Vaults.

A number of weapons will be back from the Vibin' season, and some other will also be unvaulted this season. You can check out the full list of these weapons below:

Epic Games has also adjusted the damage multiplier for Sniper Rifles. Below, you’re able to check out the latest changes for each rifle:

Last but not least, Epic Games has added Slide Kick as a new gameplay feature to the game. This basically means if you slide towards an opponent in the game, you will kick them backwards.
