Several sources have reported on Ubisoft’s newGhost Reconproject, which makes the franchise go back to a first-person shooter perspective while maintaining the tactical elements. According to the sources, it will be set in an invented country with war crimes and conflicts.

The setting for this game will be the fictional Naiman War, where several war crimes happen regarding the use of minors and other very shady things to deliver bombs. This new title will be the return of the franchise to a first-person shooter experience like the first games.
