Square is well known for having lavish video game-themed cafes to promote a new game release andFinal Fantasy VII Remakeis no exception. The upcomingcafe will be openingin February and will feature tons of aptly themed dishes and drinks that are both lovely to look at and sure to be just as delicious.
Some of the items will be a part of the pop-up’s launch while other menu items will release on March 17th and 18th. Some items include Materia themed dumplings, a red risotto based off Reno’s hair, a partfait and salad decorated with flowers similar to the ones in Aerith’s church, drinks designed after the protagonists of the game, and tons more. Today was quite the day forFinal Fantasy VII Remakenews. Square Enixreleased a new trailerrevealing the theme song of the game calledHollow, along with with many iconic moments and returning faces from the original PS1 classic. Square also announcedthe Orchestra World Tour, which will bring orchestral performances of the upcoming game’s soundtrack to cities in the US, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, and Japan. The tour will start at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA on June 14th, with the tour scheduled to run through February 2021 in Tokyo, Japan.
During The Game AwardsFinal Fantasy VII Remakereceived abrand new trailerfeaturing Cloud Strife, showing off new cutscenes and gameplay giving those new to the acclaimed JRPG more information about the titular hero. As previously revealed,Final Fantasy VII Remakehasmany new elements to itand Scenarist Kazushige Nojima even explains how herewrote Cloud for the remake. Werecently translated commentsfrom Nojima about howFinal Fantasy VIIinfluencedFinal Fantasy VIII. We also translatedthe short filmmade to promote the remake. Square Enix is currently working on thesecond and possibly last episode.
Final Fantasy VII Remakewas set to launch on July 24, 2025 on PS4 as aone year timed exclusive, but wasdelayed to April 10th. You can purchase the game from Amazonhere.
