Surprise, surprise, those folks over in the UK continue to love themselves some soccer.
In its second week of availability, EA’sFIFA 20was once again the top-selling game of the week on the UK chart. Despite being the most notable release of the past week, Ubisoft’sGhost Recon Breakpointhad to settle for second place. Normally this would be seen as a potential loss forGhost Reconbut considering how wellFIFAsells in the UK every single year, this really isn’t surprising to see in the slightest.
The rest of the top five spots for the week have been taken by the fall’s other most notable releases so far.Borderlands 3,Gears 5, andThe Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakeningrounded out the top five spots in that respective order.
In the way of other new releases for the week,Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastereddebuted at sixth overall, which is pretty solid for a remaster. Typically, it seems that remasters and remakes don’t debut this high on the weekly sales chart, so Saber Interactive is likely pleased with the game’s performance so far.
As always, you’re able to check out the full top-40 list for last week down below.
