During the recently concluded Summer Game Fest, Offworld Industries announced the release date ofStarship Troopers: Extermination, which is October 11. This game also has the same settings and backgrounds asHelldivers 2. Exterminationis a sci-fi shooter too, with a huge 16-player cooperative campaign.
Seeing the trailer for the game, many fans have expressed their wish to ditch the popular co-op title and put their flags on this upcoming title. The single-player mode of the game will showcase 25 distinct missions and an array of PvE scenarios across multiple environments.

However, there is a second chapter as well, already confirmed after the launch. The game is based on the journey of an elite special operations group within the Mobile Infantry. Players who will be selected for this group will then take orders from the Legend, Johnny Rico.
