The first win also completely transformed her life, as when she enteredSurvivor, she was just a bridal shop owner from San Antonio. Further, she used this experience of the show in her favor and launched, her HGTV seriesWhy the Heck Did I Buy This House?

Interestingly, in order to do so she also used up all of herSurvivorprize money. She further bought a 1940s-style home and after renovating it successfully sold the property. This was the first stepping stone for her after which she ventured into the real estate business. But it was her husband, Bryan Wolfe who gave her the idea to turn this passion of hers into a full-fledged show.

And in 2022, she acted upon these suggestions as well as her reality TV background and launched her HGTV series. In this project, she assists homeowners in San Antoniowho’ve regrettedtheir property purchases in redesigning their houses.

The former nurse and motivational speaker mentioned in an interview with the TV Guide Network viaE! News, that she did use this win to construct her dream cabin in North Carolina. Adding to this in 2006, she published a book titledOut Live, Out Laugh, Out Love. And also started working as a spokesperson for the National Arthritis Foundation and continued her advocacy for adoption.
