Elden Ring: 15 Best Talismans, Ranked
There are quite a few amazing Talismans found in Elden Ring, but there are several duds, too. Here’s a list of some of the most powerful.
Elden Ring Nightreign achieves this through the use of relics. Initially, this system can feel confusing. Once you start playing around with it, you find out that using the right relics can not only make your character stronger, but also help your team out tremendously.

So, here is everything you need to know about relics, from what they are and how to get them, to how you can perform Relic Rites in Elden Ring Nightreign.
What Are Relics?
Relics are items that you obtain after every expedition that can be equipped to a character to give them permanent buffs. These buffs or modifications are applicable as long as the relic isn’t removed from the vessel.
Do note that relics do not replace talismans; they still exist in the game. The main difference between the two is that talismans only last you till the duration of the run. Meanwhile, relics' effects are more permanent until you replace them.

Elden Ring: 10 Ways To Make A Second Playthrough Different
Want to spice things up the next time you play Elden Ring? Here are 10 fun ways to make your next playthrough different.
The more you progress through the story, the better relics you start to unlock. The most common type of relic is a “Scene” stone. There are 4 different types of stones that you can get: Burning Scene, Tranquil Scene, Luminous Scene, and Drizzly Scene.

These stones can then be of 3 different rarities: Delicate, Polished, and Grand. Where Delicate offers a single buff, Polished gives you two, and Grand offers three.
It is important to know that not all relics are the same. Even two relics of the same rarity and type can have two completely different buffs.

Relics aren’t just restricted to the scene stones. You can also use items like Night of the Beast, Old Pocketwatch, Cracked Sealing Wax, and more.
How To Use Relic Rites In Elden Ring Nightreign
At the Roundtable Hold, next to the Table of Lost Grace, you can spot an altar with candles that burn with blue flames. You can perform Relic Rites here.
Upon interacting with it, you get a menu that has two main sections. The left half shows you all the characters and the slots for the vessel they have equipped. The vessel decides the colors of the slots and thus which relics you can equip for a character.
Press down on your D-pad to see all your vessels and change them.
Next, on the right half of the menu, we have All Relics. This is a collection of all the relics in your inventory.
To perform Relic Rites, you simply need to add relics to the slots based on their color. Depending on the character and their equipped vessel, the colors of the slots change. For example, theDuchess' Urn requires you to equip 1 red relic and 2 blue relics.
ensure you swap your relics from time to time with new relics that better suit your character’s playstyle.
How To Get Relics In Elden Ring Nightreign
Here is how each method of obtaining relics works in this game:
Completing Expeditions
When I say completing Expeditions, you don’t necessarily have to beat the Nightlord. It is better if you do so; however, even if you happen to fail, you still get some relics as a rewardalong with Murk.
Uou should try progressing as far as possible, because the rewards for Day 2 are generally better than the ones for Day 1. It goes without saying, but defeating a Nightlord gives you the most amount of Murk and the best relics among the three Days.
Purchasing Relics From Small Jar Bazaar
In the western wing of the Roundtable Hold, you can find the Small Jar Bazaar. Here, you can buy various items like gestures, prattling plates, or even the Besmirched Frame, which is needed tounlock the Revenant.
However, what you should be buying from this Jar are Relics and Goblets. Goblets are the vessels that change the type of relic slots for a character. As for the relics, you can check the ones you want to buy to see which buffs it has to offer.
If you are looking to try your luck, then you should get the Scenic Flatstone. It only reveals the type of relic and its buffs after you purchase it, but you’re often rewarded with some nice options.
Completing Remembrances
In the eastern wing of the Roundtable Hold, you can access The Journal on a wooden platform. This journal lets you read the different chapters for each character and find out more about their journey.
The more you play with a character, the morechapters you unlock. However, after a point, you will get an option to “Begin Remembrance”. Selecting it transports you to the Realm of Remembrance, where you’re able to relive your hero’s memories.
Your goal should be to complete the Personal Objectives, as their rewards include useful items that can be used for Relic Rites. For example, upon completing Ironeye’s first personal objective, you get his Chalice and Cracked Sealing Wax.
