The director of the upcoming live-actionElden Ringmovie has revealed the boss they’ve had the most difficulty with in their playthroughs, as they prepare to bring The Lands Between to the big screen.
Plenty of big properties get their movie rights snapped up, only for nothing to come of them. This is especially true of video games, but the recent success of theSuper Mario Bros.andSonic the Hedgehogfranchises has made Hollywood more likely to make something of these gaming projects. There’s a good reason whythere was a bidding warfor theSplit Fictionfilm rights.

This guide explains everything there is to know about the Equilibrious Beast Raid in Elden Ring Nightreign.
The Elden Ring movie seems like it’s a go, withAlex Garland on boardas the director. While promoting his latest movie, 28 Years Later, he discussed Elden Ring (the video game, not the film) withIGN, and the conversation moved to the hardest bosses.

The Blade Of Miquella Is The One Giving The Elden Ring Director Trouble
It should come as no surprise to anyone who has traded blows with the Blade of Miquella that Garland named Malenia as the hardest boss in Elden Ring. Many fans consider her the most difficult FromSoftware boss of all time, rivalling the likes of Isshin the Sword Saint and Nameless King.
“It’s Malenia who’s the tough one. I’m now on my seventh playthrough of that game. I’ve leveled up, I’ve got lots of juice, and a cool sword, and stuff like that, and I just throw myself at them again, and again, and again, and again.”

It’s unclear exactly how an Elden Ring movie could work. It’s possible that a prequel couldshow the downfall of the gods, or maybe a “John Elden Ring” protagonist can be created to live out the most important moments from the game.
It wouldn’t be an Elden Ring movie without Malenia, regardless of the content, and at least the directorhas had plenty of experiencewith how she fights.
