Are you deep in on yourÂStar WarsÂcelebration for the now-iconic May the 4th psuedo-holiday? You are in good company–publisher EA isn’t holding back on the event. To celebrate May the 4th, Electronic Arts has unveiled a new special event forÂBattlefront II, fan-favorite titles being introduced to the Origin Access Vault, and – most importantly – when we can expect gameplay reveal from the upcoming Respawn Entertainment title,ÂStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.News comes by way of publisher EA directly, who took to Twitter using the#MayThe4thBeWithYou hashtag. The publisher took a four-tier approach in announcing everything that they were doing today, starting with nearly doubling theÂStar WarsÂtitles available in the EA Origin Access Vault. These includethe following games:

The standout titles in the bunch seem to be the PS2 titlesÂStarfighterÂandÂBattlefront IIÂthat are well-regarded as some of the best of the series’ games in existence. With that said,ÂJedi AcademyÂis nothing to sneeze at:

On the other end, what kind of publisher would EA be if they weren’t plugging their current supportedÂStar WarsÂtitles? With this in mind, they announced that Princess Leia fromÂStar Wars: A New HopeÂwould be available inÂBattlefront IIÂbeginning today and ending on May the 6th – err… May 6th.

Likely the most important bit to readers on the site is their third way they are celebrating May the 4th: offering up some more detail intoÂStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. While we don’t specifically get any news on the game, we do get confirmation that we will see the gameplay reveal in June alongside E3 and the Electronic Arts separate event, EA Play. While this was expected given thatÂJedi: Fallen OrderÂis among one of the most anticipated titles for EA, it is still always great to get an affirmative confirmation.

Last but not least, EA confirmed they are ending the EA Star Wars Xbox Giveaway promotion they have been running for some time now. If you are interested in winning an Xbox One X, a copy ofÂStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and someÂStar WarsÂmerch, make sure to put in your submission before tonight:

Even without EA,ÂStar WarsÂis without a doubt having a tremendous year in 2019 – thanks to the opening ofnew theme park attractions, games, and films.
