Elden Ringis arguably one of the best Soulslike titles ever released and one of the most talked-about aspects of the game is its hard-to-beat bosses. There are several bosses that give players headaches and take countless tries to defeat.

The game’sShadow of the ErdtreeDLC added more such bosses, and players have been discussing which other bosses could be a good fit for the game. While there are many options, one Dark Souls boss is the only best fit.
Elden Ring Fans Want Dark Souls Boss in the Game
One player took to the game’s subreddit and asked the community about their thoughts on what boss from other FromSoftware games would work in the game. They added that Bed of Chaos from Dark Souls would fit in the game and said that“it’d be perfect.”

Bed of Chaos is surely a difficult boss, but one fan suggested that Gaping Dragon from Dark Souls and Champion Gundyr also would fit right in. Another player agreed to seeing Champion Gundyr in the game, saying,“Oooh, I like the Gundyr a lot, actually. Dude already has the aggression of ER, plus he loves to delay his hits.”They said that it could be put midgame.
Champion Gundyr is a boss inDark Souls 3and is a different version of Iudex Gundyr but has the same movesets as Iudex but with new attacks. Gundyr is more aggressive than in the Cemetery of Ash, and fans think his aggression is perfect for the game.

Players have said that Horned Warriors and Divine Beast Warriors in the game have Gundyr’s movesets. However, many think Gundyr using Halberds will make him unique in comparison to these warriors, with a player adding that they need him not“some cheap knockoff.”
Gaping Dragon Is Also a Popular Option
Fans have said that a reworked Gaping Dragon would be perfect for the game. It is one of the best boss in the game and has some deadly attacks that are hard to avoid if players are in its range.

One fan said that if the Dragon boss gets modern visuals and updated movesets, it would be“absolutely insane.”There are several other options that players have suggested could work in the game.
This includes Dancer of the Boreal Valley, the tall armored Knight with a cape, Allmind fromArmored Core 6, Old Hero fromDemon’s Souls, Mergo’s Wet Nurse fromBloodborne, Orphan of Kos, and many others.

Although the chances of these bosses coming to the game are unlikely, which FromSoftware bosses do you think would work? Let us know in the comments below!
