This quest is time-sensitive, as it’s still unclear if Rodge is still alive after the initial attack, and there will be no clear mark about Rodge’s location on the map. After hearing the story and accepting the quest, players will need to quickly get out into town and begin asking about Rodge.

Asking The Townsfolk
The first objective for this quest will require players to talk to the townsfolk in order to get clues as to where Rodge is. Return to thefront entrance of the town and speak to Jacint,the old woman who can give the first bit of information. Immediatelyturn left and went towards the well to talk to Alsa.After those two, head towards thebridge and speak to the guard Rikhardto get the location of the wolves' cave on the map.
This quest is timed and I took about a day and a half to do it without failing.
Where To Find Rodge
Now, with the location marked on the map,head out of the town across the bridge and follow the path to the right.This will bring you through some caves and stay ready for a fight asbandits and monsters will constantly ambush you throughout.After exiting the caves, there will be acampsiteoff to the left, but go past it and look for thewooden bridge across the valley off to the left side of the path.
Crossing that bridge, continue to follow the path further east until you reach the wolves' location. Head inside the cave and fight through the wolves toreach the back where the entrance to the Putrid Caveis. Inside will be five wolves and Rodge, who will be saved after you kill the wolves.

Returning Rodge & Rewards
Rodge will then need to be escorted back to town personally by the Arisen.Be careful not to run too fast; otherwise, he’ll return to the cave.As long as the player jogs, Rodge should follow closely behind. In the event of monsters or if Rodge turns around,he can be picked up and carried.This will require a lot of Stamina and he will occasionally fight to get free due to his low affinity with the player, but it can help speed things up if his AI isn’t following properly. Upon bringing Rodge back to the Apothecary, the quest will be finished, and the player will berewarded with two Miracle Roborants,11,000 gold,and 4,000 XP.
