A new premise for the upcomingDragon Ball Daimaanime and details about Toriyama’s close involvement in the project, which includes new character designs, plotlines, and an entirely new story, was revealed in the schedule on theDragon Ball Games Battle Hourwebsite.
The synopsis read:
“DRAGON BALL DAIMA is a new anime in which Akira Toriyama has been directly involved with the production of its brand-new story, including the plot and character designs. Also, it is being released for the 40th anniversary of the original DRAGON BALL series, taking the fans’ expectations to a whole new level.”
Although it doesn’t reveal much new information about the storyline, it does explain thatAkira Toriyamais bringing in new character designs and the series will take the expectations ofDragon Ballfans to a whole new level. Along with the synopsis, a new description of theDragon Ball Daimapanel was also released on the website.
