There were multiple takeaways from the Trump-Harris Presidential Debate that took place over a week ago. But the biggest takeaway is thatKamala Harrismight be a legitimate contender in this battle.
After the long-awaited debate concluded,Taylor Swiftissued a lengthy post on Instagram in support of Harris.
According to Swift, Harris is capable of being “steady-handed” and a “gifted leader”. She said,
I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for [Kamala Harris] because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.

TheLove Storyhitmaker also said she was elated that Tim Walz was chosen as Harris’ running mate. She supports Walz because of his efforts towards LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s rights to her own body.
At the end of the caption, she urged her supporters to do research before voting for either candidate. Swift has been very active in supporting Harris’ campaign stating that she will also update her fans and followers on where to register to vote, early voting dates, and other information via her stories.

Donald Trump believed Taylor Swift would never endorse Democrats for this reason
Ever since Donald Trump came into political relevance and became the President of America in 2017, Taylor Swift has been completely against his policies. She protested against his handling of various matters such as the Black Lives Matter protests, the US Postal Service, etc.
However, Trump believed that he put himself in Swift’s good books after he signed a copyright reform legislation that helped change the way music artists earned money through online streaming. According to theRolling Stone, he said,
I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists… Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will.
During his comment on the Music Modernization Act, Trump also went on to blastJoe Bidenfor allegedly being the most corrupt president in US history. He added,
There’s no way she could endorse crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money.
Trump’s Social Truth account also featured images of his supporters wearing “Swifties for Trump” t-shirts. However, other images of Swift herself claiming that she would vote for Trump were also uploaded.
