Previously, Bungie has been revealed that they would have special items and weapons in the 30th Anniversary Pack inDestiny 2, which represent their previous titles. And well, they are creators of one of the most praised shooters of all time:Halo.
Destiny 2 Gets Halo CE Magnum and Halo 2 Energy Sword
While we already knew some Halo-themed armors would be available in the pack, but the latest update revealed even more Halo-themed stuff that you wouldn’t want to miss.
This includes the iconicHalo Combat EvolvedMagnum which seems to be an Exotic weapon with a special grenade that is being thrown by the player much similar to Master Chief inHalo CE.
What makes this weapon even lovelier is the fact that when you go aim-down-sight you spot the iconic zoom UI of the weapon that you used to see in the originalHalotitle.
Also, the developers at Bungie are delivering an Energy Sword that highly represents the popular melee weapon of the same name from Halo 2. That being said, the appearance of the Energy Sword inDestiny 2has only one side ofHalo’s weapon.
Last but not least, the trailer also showcased a weapon that looks very much like The Battle Rifle from the Halo series, with a similar scope and shooting mode.
Destiny 2is available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Stadia, and PC. Bungie’s 30th Anniversary Pack is a paid expansion of cosmetics that will cost you $24.99. It is available now across all platforms as the maintenance is almost over.
