But it appears this might not be the case, as perJeff Sneider,James Gunnand Co. are still sticking with Andy Muschietti forTBAB, despite his last feature failing to meet the expectations.

Alan Ritchson Would Love to Become DCU’s Batman
With DCU already announcing its Superman, fans are patiently waiting to see who’ll be picked to helm Batman in the new universe. And while it seems there is still a long way to go before that happens,Alan Ritchson, who was fan-cast as DCU’s Bruce Wayne, expressed he’d love to play Batman.
Known for starring inReacher, Ritchson was chosen by fans as the next actor to tackle the iconic gig following his brooding nature in the series. And although the actor himself debunked the rumors, stating that he hasn’t been asked yet to play Batman, hestressedhe’d love to do that.
“As huge as this rumor mill is, I feel like this part should be offered on a silver platter at this point. I would love to play Batman. But, I’m not yet Batman. I don’t know what, I don’t know what Gunn’s approach is gonna be. But yeah, that’d be great. He’s one of the most iconic characters of all time.”
