TheDemon Slayeranime season 2 has a new airing time slot time in Japan, and more information on this adaptation of theEntertainment District Arcwill be coming in the next few weeks.

Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arcanime news coming September 25

Fuji TVannouncedon September 6 a new time slot for the upcomingDemon Slayer season 2in Japan. It’ll now air every Sundays at 11:15 PM starting this Fall, which means October. This doesn’t particularly change anything for us outside Japan, who will be following the series through simulcast.

The anime was also re-confirmed to be airing for half a year, from Fall to Winter included. Moreover, before the start of S2, Fuji TV will reair the first season ofDemon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba, from September 11 to 23. Using newly cut footage, aired on five days:

Lastly, Fuji TV will air theMugen Trainmovie on September 25. This will be the first time the movie is broadcast on TV. Furthermore, news onDemon Slayer Season 2 Entertainment Districtarc will be revealed then. So be sure to stay tuned that day.

The news will be announced through a special TV program that features the seiyuu (Japanese voice actresses and actors) of Tanjiro (Natsuki Hanae), Nezuko (Akari Kito), Zenitsu (Hiro Shimono), and Inosuke (Yoshitsugu Matsuoka).

Season 2 was initially supposed to be aired earlier in the day on Fuji TV. It’s possible the channel backpedaled after seeing how goryDemon Slayercan be. The anime series will keep its status as a late-night anime, just like Season 1. And that’s despite how the manga is primarily aimed toward kids and teenagers, seeing it was in Weekly Shonen Jump,
