While anyone familiar withUndertaleprobably found most of the Piano puzzles inDeltarunerather easy in comparison, plenty of these note-hitting brain teasers can give you quite a bit of trouble.
They often make you scour around the area, sometimes even backtracking and investigating areas that you couldn’t reach before you obtain the climbing claws midway through the chapter.

Deltarune: How to Find All Egg Rooms
They’re not too important, and not too unimportant.
In this guide, I’ll be covering every Piano puzzle in Deltarune Chapter 4, where you’re expected to input a series of notes to open something up, so you won’t get stuck no matter where you are.

Although I’ll be covering all the methods to obtain the puzzle solutions, you can input the sequence of notes without doing any of that. If you’d like to skip a ton of things, just put in the arrows.
First Piano
This first one is straightforward. you may press the buttons at the bottom in the darkness to reveal the solution, having youplay Left, Down, Left, Down, Left, and Rightto open up the first gate, as the tutorial for these puzzles.
Second Piano
After the old man and your pals split in two different directions, you could unveil the code by pressing buttons on the top and bottom left, or justplay the code Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, and Up, on the piano.
First Piano Block Puzzle
These block puzzles are slightly different, but can still be solved with simple patterns. In the leftmost room above the study, for the blue piano, input Down, Left, Up, Right, Up, Left, Up, Left, and Down.
After that, head over to the left and get up to the green piano, theninput Up, Right, Up, Left, Up, and Right. From there, climb up the ladder to the bookcase under the blue block, and claim your AbsorbAx.

Finally, go back to the blue piano, theninput Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, Up, Right, Up, and you’ll be taken to another hallway with more doors that lead to progression instead of just optional items.
Swap Piano/Third Piano
For this piano, getting the solution itself is fairly involved compared to the last two. In that hallway we just entered, go all the way left, navigate through the dark and around enemies, and you’ll find the first part of our Piano Pattern.
For the second piece, head to the right, then interact with the pink and green piano. First, press Left on the pink block, then switch to green, and press Left, Up, Right, and Down.

After that, switch back to pink and press Down, then Right. Doing this allows you to walk over to the chest at the bottom, which contains a ReviveMint, something you will wantfor the future.
After you open the chest, go back to the Piano, move the pink block Up, then move the green block Left, Up, and Rightto walk across the path. From there, you get the second piece of the puzzle and can go to the middle room toplay Left, Down, Left, Right, Down, Down, Right, Right.

Grand Piano
As soon as you get the climbing gear, you’re already taking too long. you may immediately climb up in the save point room in the library to get to the Grand Piano, which will give youaccess to the Secret Boss.
To get the code for this, you’ll need to backtrack a little bit. From the Study, head left, all the way down, then left at the bookcases. Keep going left, while avoiding shadow balls, then climb up the footholds you’ll find on the wall.
After a simple climbing challenge, you’ll encounter a beautiful woman, Miss Mizzle, in a terrifying water cooler, and get the first part of the code. After this, head back down and back to the bookcases you turned left at.
After the hallway, climb up the footholds, and enter a dark room, where you need to navigate to the top right to interact with a guy and get the second part of the code. Head back to the Study for this last part.
From the Study, head up, then to the left, and behind the waterfall. Navigating this dark room is rather easy, and once you’ve done it, you have every part of the code you need, and a cute scene with the old man.
From there, head back down, climb up the books next to the save point, andinput Up, Neutral, Up, Left, Down, Neutral, Right, Neutral, Right, Down, Left, and Neutral, which will open up the path to the secret boss.
Deltarune: How To Recruit Everyone
When your friends are you power, it helps to know an army.
At the top of the tower, there is an organ you can play with far more notes than usual, but this puzzle is easier than it seems. Simply try to play it once, head to the right, watch a cutscene with Susie and the Old Man, then come back to the Organ.
This will have Kris play it on their own, without your influence. After they’re done, you may get a few easter eggs by playing songs like “Megalovania,” “Don’t Forget,” and (I can’t believe I’m saying this) “You Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story. I guess the friend was inside all of us all along.
First Moving Piano
Now that we’re in the Second Sanctuary, everything is flipped on its head. When you interact with the piano, it will go flying instead of the block, and you canuse this by hitting Down, Left, Up, Left, Down, Left, Up, and Right.
Doing this opens up a ladder to a door, which leads to a unique enemy encounter. After this, move the piano Down, Right, Up, Right, Down, and Right, then climb up to progress.
Second Moving Piano
In the Third Sanctuary, the piano gets used for movementmore than puzzle solving, but there’s still a sequence of inputs you can do to succeed, even if it’s under significantly more pressure this time.
To get to the end,hit Down, Left, Up, then Right, Up, Left, Up, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Left, Down, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Left, and you’ll be home free.
