UPDATE 2: If for some reason you didn’t believe the statement below, the Xbox Game Pass team also issued a statement regarding the Control coming to Microsoft’s subscription service:

“We’re aware thatÂControlÂwas mentioned as coming to the Xbox Game Pass library and can confirm this was in error. While we are always updating the library and looking for new ways to provide our members with value and choice in their games, we do not have plans to bringÂControlÂto the library at this time.”

Now that both parties have confirmed the error, I think it’s safe to sayÂControlÂwon’t be coming to Xbox Game Pass in the near future.

UPDATE: Just a couple minutes after posting this story, the Control twitter account posted the following tweet:

So, it appears the game won’t be coming to Xbox Game Pass any time soon.

Have you been wanting to play Remedy Entertainment’s newest hit,Control, but have yet to pick it up. Well, don’t fret. It seems the studio’s trippy adventure will be coming to Xbox Game Pass.
