With this year coming to an end soon, Supercell has delivered a new two-stage challenge forClash Royale, inviting players to participate in the Santa Hog Rider challenge to get some rewards and qualify for the next stage.

Hopefully, the Santa Hog Rider challenge doesn’t feature a loss penalty, which means you won’t be eliminated from the challenge no matter how many times you lose. This is already a relief for players who want to complete the challenge using their very own decks. But if you don’t have much time to try out your self-crafted decks, we have some good suggestions here to help you complete the first stage of the challenge as soon as possible.
In the Santa Hog Rider challenge, each deck will feature a Santa Hog Rider special card that costs 5 Elixir. Every time that you spawn this special card, it will act like a normal Hog Rider, but it will leave behind some gifts in its path toward the target, and every other troop from your team that collects those gifts will receive a random buff such as Rage, Clone, or invisibility. The interesting part is when Hog Rider reaches its target. At this point, every gift that the troop drops is consumed by itself, which makes Hog Rider super strong and fast in destroying towers.
For this, we strongly suggest you pick some direct hit spells like Fireball, Poison, or Lightning. Also, having a structure card like Tesla Tower, Cannon, or Inferno is recommended to avoid the opponent’s Hog Rider from directly coming at your crown towers.
