Best Decks For Bombs Away Event

So, the rules are pretty simple in Bombs Away. The big Mortar in the middle will have a certain HP bar for each side of the battle. The player who destroys the Mortar’s shield first will own the Mortar, and it will begin to deal damage to the opponent’s crown tower. If you lose the Mortar to your opponent, you will need to focus fire on it to get rid of it as soon as possible, though at least one shot from Mortar is guaranteed.

It is quite important to have troops that either spam themselves or can spawn spam gradually. However, you should also have some troops or spells that are capable of instantly killing spams, such as The Log, Arrows, or Zap.

Since all troops will focus fire on the Mortar’s shield automatically, dealing with giants like Pekka will be difficult, as they could quickly destroy the shield. In this case, having a Freeze spell comes in handy, as it can delay Pekka’s attacks and buy you more time to take down the shield faster.

Bowler And Executioner Deck

Both Bowler and Executioner are incredibly powerful troops to target the Mortar’s shield, while also damaging any opposing units on the other side of the river. Dropping only one is enough, but you should also add either Goblins or Flying Machine to increase your DPS on the Mortar. Canon itself can also be a good option to deal damage to the Mortar’s shield.

Once done, Bowler will start moving towards the bridge. If your opponent uses Dagger Duchess as a Tower Troop, Bowler will be a good tank unit to absorb all the daggers, while Flying Machine or Executioner could deal the main damage to the towers. Firecrackers can also be a good support in this case, but we usually save them when dealing with the opposing flying units when the battle over Mortar begins.

Sparky And Guardians Deck

Similar to Bowler and Executioner, Sparky is also capable of dealing damage to Mortar’s shield while also applying AOE damage to the opposing units around it. While there is always the risk of losing one Sparky shot to the opponent’s possible Zap, it’s still a solid troop to own the Mortar quickly, especially if you add the Guardians to the battle as well.

Freeze is best to be used when your Sparky is moving to the other side of the battlefield to target the crown towers. On this occasion, you’re able to deploy Freeze onto the tower and any other troop that could interrupt Sparky, such as Electro Wizard or Electro Dragon.

Arrows should be used to destroy the opponent’s spam units on the shield, while Zap is a great tool to delay Inferno-infused and Electro-infused attacks on the shield. Golden Knight is your defensive troop in this deck, but his incredible special ability can also make it quite powerful for rushing for an attack, especially if the opponent uses Dagger Duchess.
