The Illuminati theory has been one of the most popular conspiracy theories. The concept of a group of powerful individuals pulling all the strings in the world while hiding in the shadows is great for engaging films or books. One episode saw one of the stoned employees making art about the Illuminati conspiracy theory and “exposing” the real workings of the world. Fans were quick to attribute the show’s cancellation to this scene, making it about the Illuminati and how the group was controlling the media.

While this is not the real reason for the show’s cancellation, fans had their own bit of fun with the coincidence, which seemed to be on brand for the show.

‘Disjointed’ is ultimately trying to do too many things at once, and as a result just feels sloppy. The streaming service’s freedom with language, s*x, and jokes about bodily fluids are incredibly unappealing when mixed with the homey feeling of a multi-camera sitcom
