One Punch Manis in a class by itself, especially through its take on the shonen genre. The series shifts its focus from a visually appealing hero to a rather compelling plot. What makes the series truly unique is the characterization and concepts.

Unlike most Shonen heroes, Saitama starts at rock bottom and makes his way up as the hero. He is symbolic of perseverance and strength. His resilience along with his character makes the series worth watching. But there’s more to it.

Saitama isn’t Stronger Than Goku Because Yusuke Murata Won’t Let One Punch Man Do the 1 Thing Akira Toriyama Makes Goku Do in Every Dragon Ball Arc

Most of all, the anime is highly praised for its impeccable animation. This is attributed to Madhouse Studio which has produced some notable anime. Some of these includeDeath Note,Perfect Blue, andParasyte.

Not only that, the character designer is none other than Chikashi Kubota who has previously worked as a key animator. He previously worked onSpace Dandy,Attack on Titan, andDragon Ball Super. With thethird seasonin the works, Kubota’s alarming comments did not sit well with the fans.

Might be problems = he doesn’t know

Damn there every single Anime that comes out has issues, why the fuck would OPM of all shows be different?

I don’t think we should take his words seriously since he prob not participate much in the production. But anime have problems nowadays are normal

What could be those problems? 😔 I hope they all can sort them out and everything turns out well 🥲

While there might be problems, fans speculated the comment to be a false alarm. Since there has been no confirmation regarding the problems, it further points to the vagueness of the series’ production status.

One Punch Manand its Vague Production Status

It was in August 2022 that the third season of the franchise was officially announced. So far, we know that JC Studio is producing the anime. This has further concerned the fans.

With the studio’s history of working on some of theworst shows, fans’ concerns are pretty valid. This, however, doesn’t negate the studio’s feats. FromFood WarstoBakuman, the studio gave us some impeccable shows as well.

Not only that, Chikashi Kubota’s expertise is something that shouldn’t be taken lightly. As someone who has worked with the series for two seasons, the show might be in safe hands.

Even with a reputed studio like Madhouse, the series faced quality issues. And while JC isn’t as glorious as the top animation giants, one thing is for sure. It has the potential torectify these mistakesand render finesse to them.
