Call of Duty Vanguardis finally officially out worldwide after several Alpha and Beta Tests scattered through these past few months. The new game fromTreyarchincludes Champion Hill, a Round-Robin, and life-limited Deathmatch Tournament.
Champion Hill was included in the firstVanguardAlpha Test in August 2021 and has been a highlight of the game since.
Tips to win inVanguardChampion Hill - Memorize the maps
The four maps of Champion Hill have been in there since the Alpha: Courtyard, Trainyard, Market, and Airstrip. And these are the only four maps at launch.
In other words, players who have been playing since the Alpha and Beta are overly familiar with these maps. And if you want to be the best, you’ll also need to memorize these maps as fast as possible.
This is the most important, you’ll need to coordinate with your duo or trio teammates if you don’t wanna get steamrolled. Note that with the full launch of the game, there is also a Solo Mode, so you could always go there if coordination isn’t your thing. Or if you don’t like voice chatting with strangers.
Collect cash and spend it first on the Spy Plane Streak
Don’t forget that whenever you shoot down an enemy player, they’ll drop cash. Be sure to pick it up. Moreover, you should prioritize getting the Spy Plane streak as soon as possible to gather info on your enemy efficiently.
When you cal in the Spy Plane, it reveals all enemy positions on the minimap, and the Spy Plane can’t be shot down. It activates in the match after you’ve purchased it, and will give you a clear advantage.
Focus on picking up Life Tokens - Map locations
If your coordination is better than the other teams, you’ll be able to efficiently gather Life Tokens, located at the center of the maps. They’re in exposed areas, and so only by working together with your duo or trio you’ll be able to gather them.
Even if you’re full life, getting a Token will net you bonus cash. And it’ll always be one less Life Token for the opponent. So you should always try to gather as much as possible.
