Today,Capcom posted its consolidated business resultsfor the fiscal year ending on June 03, 2025. Overall, things are continuing to look good as the company achieved record high profits during the financial period.

Overall, net sales increased to 100,031 million yen (up 5.8% from the previous period). Capcom also saw increases from operating income (up 13.1% from previous period), ordinary income (up 19.3% from previous period), and net income attributable to owners of the parent (up 14.8% from previous period). This makes it the sixth consecutive year Capcom has seen operating income growth and second consecutive year seeing profitability growth across the board.

This success can be attributed to Capcom’s Digital Contents business.Resident Evil 2exceeded the company’s expectations, whileDevil May Cry 5– which launched on August 05, 2025, shortly before the fiscal period ended – had strong sales. With the release ofMonster Hunter Worldfor PC, not only did it perform “solidly,” it shipped over 12 million units, another record high for the company. Additionally,Mega Man 11andStreet Fighter Anniversary Collectionperformed well overall. Net sales for Digital Contents were 82,982 million yen, an 11.9% increase from the last fiscal year.

Capcom’s Amusement Equipments business, which includes the Pachinko and Pachislo market, suffered during the fiscal year with an operating loss of 2,668 million yen. However, the success of its Digital Contents business counterbalances the discrepancy with the company achieving a very successful fiscal year overall.

Capcom states that it will “strengthen digital download and catalog sales,” as well as continue to grow its Digital Contents business moving forward. The company also plans to invest more into esports stating, “Capcom is redoubling its commitment to making this sector a priority area, and aims to grow the player base worldwide through running leagues that utilizeStreet Fighter.” For the next fiscal year ending on July 24, 2025, Capcom expects to reach 85,000 million yen in net sales and 20,000 million yen in operating income.
