Madara Uchiha and Marshall D. Teach, also known as Blackbeard are two of the strongest antagonists in anime history. Both are ruthless and extremely powerful and are known to cause havoc in their anime series. AsNarutohas ended already, Madara’s journey as a villain is completed, but Blackbeard still has a long way to go.
The debate betweenOne PieceandNarutohas been going on for a long time. And if the villains of these series are compared Madara would surely come out to be more devious than Blackbeard. His reign of terror and his demeanor as a villain is far more vicious than Blackbeard. However, if they are involved in a one-on-one fight, who will win?
Looking at their strength and abilities, it is very easy to predict the winner of their battle. And it is none other than Madara Uchiha. Madara has six extremely powerful abilities that support this argument.
One Dojutsu Boruto is Yet to Show That is Theoretically More Powerful Than the Rinnegan
1Limbo: Border Jail
Madara Uchiha uses his Rinnegan to project a shadow of himself into Limbo, an invisible realm that exists alongside the actual world but is typically invisible to humans or difficult to detect. Madara can only create one shadow with one Rinnegan, but he can create up to four with two. With the further benefit of being untrackable, every shadow possesses the same powers as the actual Madara.
It is impossible to hurt the shadows by traditional methods, and they are oblivious to all forms of physical injury. Furthermore, they can not only protect Madara but also initiate attacks on his adversaries. Blackbeard does not possess any kind of ability that could detect the Limbo shadows and thus he won’t be able to attack Madara.
2Wood Release Jutsu and Hashirama Cells
Madara was able to employ Wood Release, a chakra that was a combination of earth and water, with a level of expertise and power that was comparable to that of Hashirama after transferring his DNA, which was later enhanced even further by Kabuto. He could make wood clones, enormous flowering trees that could knock opponents out cold, and wood dragons that could bind opponents and drain their chakra.
In addition, it gave him limitless chakra and stamina that would prevent him from losing at any cost, and it allowed him to quickly recover the majority of his wounds. Although Blackbeard has two devil fruits and Haki, he does not have any kind of ability that could help him in healing his wounds or preserve stamina, thus resulting in his defeat against Madara.
Madara’s Susanoo was the strongest Susanoo inNaruto. The Susanoo of Madara possessed four swaying blades that could be hurled and maneuvered from a distance. These swords were capable of cutting through mountains at a wide range. Not to mention, he could shoot different-sized Shurikens.

Rather than using its secondary set of arms for flight, Madara’s Complete Body Susanoo employs them for assault and defense. Blackbeard has no chance against Madara Uchiha’s complete Susanoo.

4The Infamous Uchiha Genjutsu
Madara Uchiha might have the strongest genjutsu abilities inNaruto. Although he has never explicitly shown the technique inNaruto, his Infinite Tsukuyomi was enough to explain the level of his strength. Being the strongest Uchiha, he has some of the strongest Genjutsu techniques that could be used against Blackbeard.
Also, Blackbeard does not have any kind of defense against the genjutsu abilities thus, he won’t stand a chance against the simplest Genjutsu technique.
5Tengai Shinsei
Tengai Shinsei is a jutsu technique where a meteor appears from the sky. Entire armies can be destroyed by it due to its sheer power and size. It is among Madara Uchiha’s most potent techniques. If one of the meteorites stops falling on the same track, Madara can quickly call out another one to strike the first and so on, ensuring that the meteorites reach their target.
Although Blackbeard can use his devil fruit abilities to cause tremors and earthquakes, he can’t save himself from huge building-sized meteors being dropped on him from above. He won’t be able to survive after this attack.

Madara’s Sharingan became the Rinnegan years after he unintentionally mixed the chakras of Asura and Indra and infused himself with Hashirama’s DNA. He was able to employ Kamui on himself right away after taking Kakashi Hatake’s Mangekyo Sharingan and integrating the God Tree into himself.
