The brand new mid-season update forCall of Duty: Vanguardwas deployed for all supported platforms earlier today (January 11), marking the first patch of the year with the beginning of Season One Reloaded.

Today’s update is a much-needed one, as the recent holiday break meant no new patches were released for bothCall of Duty: VanguardandCall of Duty: Warzone. AlthoughWarzoneis in a much worse state, especially since the release of the new Caldera Map, weapon balancing and bug fixes forVanguardare very much welcome.

Call of Duty: VanguardUpdate Details

Sledgehammer Games took to Twitter following their holiday break to announce some important changes making their way toCall of Duty: Vanguard.

The preview of things to come can be seen in the tweet below, but one change, in particular, stands out amongst the rest, sniper buffs and shotgun nerfs. As manyVanguardplayers will be well aware, Shotguns are incredibly overpowered in multiplayer, whilst Snipers are practically unusable, today’s update should hopefully change that.
