In Bullet Hell, you’re up against a hail of enemy fire. In a Bullet Heaven,you’re the one doing the shootingand filling the screen with projectiles. In many ways, Bullet Heaven games feel likethe reverse of Bullet Hell, as you repel hordes of enemies with your superior gunfire.

The most famous example of a Bullet Heaven game would be Poncle’s legendaryVampire Survivors.
