Last month,he said thatBorderlands 4 has “more than twice” the budget of its predecessor, Borderlands 3. Despite that, he wasn’t sure about the game’s price tag. You’d expect it to be $70, like most AAA games today, but with Nintendo jumping the price ofselect Switch 2 games to $80, people were worried. He came under fire for saying thatreal fans would find a way to pay $80 for Borderlands 4. “If you’re a real fan, you’ll find a way to make it happen,” he said before talking about the time he paid $80 for Starflight on the Sega Genesis in 1991.

As announced by the2K blog, Borderlands 4 will be released in three different editions. Randy Pitchford is once again discussing the game. This time, he’s not creating any controversy and is just expressing his excitement for it.
