Although in the early stages of development, the sequel to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been on the lips of fans during 2021’s Guerrilla Collective

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, developed by ArtPlay and published by 505 Games, was led by formerCastlevaniaseries producer Koji Igarashi, and is considered a spiritual successor to the series.

The game is the second in theBloodstainedseries and released on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2019. Recently, word got around that a sequel was rumoured to be in the works due to afinancial reportsuggesting that another “version” of the Metroidvania title could be seeing the light of day.

TheBloodstainedTwitter accounthas since acknowledged the reportsand confirmed that 505 Games and ArtPlay are indeed working on the sequel. Fans of the series had hoped to see more information at this year’sGuerrilla Collective.
