The drama surroundingIt Ends With Usstars Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively keeps getting intense. Following Lively’s complaint, in which she accused her co-star of alleged s*xual harassment and in retaliation, Baldoni’s lawyer has made some serious claims and even promised to release a series of texts and videos to prove his client’s innocence.

To support their position, Baldoni’s team released behind-the-scenes footage from the film, countering one of Lively’s allegations. The video has gone viral, sparking a range of reactions, including from a Hollywood intimacy coordinator who stated that the footage doesn’t seem inappropriate.
Hollywood intimacy coordinator reflected on Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s viral behind-the-scenes clip
One of the many things highlighted in the drama surrounding theIt Ends With UsstarsJustin Baldoniand Blake Lively has been the issue of anintimacy coordinator on the set.
While the actor and director of the movie claimed to have hired a female intimacy coordinator to approach scenes with a female perspective, Lively’s complaint later contradicted this.

The question was once again raisedafter behind-the-scenes footage from the set of the moviewas released earlier this month. And similar to the ongoing legal dispute, the footage has also received a mixed response.
Mia Schachter, an intimacy coordinator, also weighed in on the clip’s content.“I wouldn’t even have flagged it to discuss with a director based on what that excerpt says of the scene description,”they toldThe Hollywood Reporter.

While Schachter noted there was no mention of physical intimacy in the scene, they also pointed out that nothing in the clip seemed problematic or in need of intervention.
If I were hearing what’s in this clip, none of it stands out to me as something where I would need to intervene. I even thought it was kind of sweet that they were talking about their own real-life partners.

They further noted, “It was kind of awkward, but it was not inappropriate.”However, the intimacy coordinator also acknowledged that the broader context of the clip adds complexity.
The intimacy coordinator weighed in on theIt Ends With Uscontroversy
Further weighing in on thecontroversy surrounding the newly released footage,Mia Schachter also talked about the complexities of the situation, particularly in regard to the context.
Blake Livelyhas alleged that her co-star improvised intimate scenes and on one such occasionmade a comment about her smelling good, which made her uncomfortable. In response, Justin Baldoni claimed in his lawsuit that the remark was made as a reaction to Lively discussing her spray tan.

The behind-the-scenes clip, released by Baldoni’s legal team, shows the interaction referenced in both the lawsuits.“This clip really shows how complex it is,”said Schachter, as they further explained,
Because obviously to say that in character makes sense. To say that out of character, it’s not inherently wrong or inappropriate.
However, they also noted that such moments could be uncomfortable“when there has been mounting discomfort and mounting line crossings.”The behind-the-scenes footage has received a huge reaction from the audience.

While some are siding with Baldoni’s perspective, many, including Lively’s lawyer have argued that the clip, rather than exonerating Baldoni, reinforces the claims made in her complaint and lawsuit.
