Unfortunately, the spoilers for the next chapter suggest that Morris will be responsible for the deaths of a few additional characters, adding to the already tragic events unfolding in the story.

The upcoming chapter will pick up right where we left off, with Mereoleona’s arm decayed by Morris. She activates her Hellfire Incarnate spell, resulting in a large fire immerging from her body. Seeing her fierce look, Morris remarks that he has never seen someone whose body is so close to mana. While bragging about his powers, Morris says that his magic spell has the power to decompose anything he touches.
After making contact with Morris, Mereoleona demonstrates her remarkable mana regeneration abilities by regenerating her fist. However, Morris is quick to praise her while stating that his own regeneration powers are even faster. The two engage in a battle, and due to Morris' superior regeneration, Mereoleona’s body begins to decompose at an alarming rate. Though her allies express concern, Mereoleona shows a fearless attitude by stating that she doesn’t care if she dies in battle.
The focus then shifts to Fuegoleon and Salamander, who observe Mereoleona’s deteriorating condition with concern. As the battle nears its conclusion, Morris prepares to deliver the final blow to Mereoleona, but two Magic Knights unexpectedly intervene and sacrifice their lives to save her from the attack. As they breathe their last, their final words are a request for Mereoleona and her allies to carry on the fight.
However, Mereoleona still didn’t step back from fighting Morris and tried punching him. Seeing how vulnerable her defense is, some Magic Knights come to shield her from his attack and die while protecting her. Fuegoleon comments that Morris' regeneration and decomposition abilities are not infinite either, but Mereoleona is gambling her life in the battle. Morris comments that it doesn’t matter how stupid or incompetent she is; Lucius will still regenerate her.
At the end of the chapter, Mereoleona becomes furious and claims that she will burn Morris to death for her dead comrades, and she unleashes a new spell, “Calidus Bracium: Purgatory Incineration.”
