Of course, with something as gigantic as Larian Studios' latest endeavor, it’s easy to miss so much, but it also makes finding all these little references even more exciting while questing around the Forgotten Realms.
One particular eagle-eyed BG3 enthusiast believes that they may have stumbled across a reference to the world-famous chef Gordon Ramsay while exploring Lady Jannath’s house and that, maybe, it’s yet another Larian Easter egg.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Players Have A Wild Theory About Halsin’s True Identity
Baldur’s Gate 3 players theorize a potential plot twist by Larian Studios that Halsin is only pretending to be an elf and is in disguise.
Many of the greatest gameslove to keep their player base on their toes and to continue to explore its many nooks and crannies looking for mysteries. One of the many incredible references in gaming can be found inGrand Theft Auto, for instance, where a throwback can be witnessed at Raton Canyon to the ending of the classic 1991 film Thelma & Louise, as both women drive their car off a cliff. From Edgar Allan Poe and Evil Dead references toDivinity: Original Sin 2paintings found throughout, Baldur’s Gate 3 is no secret to the odd Easter egg or two from time to time.

One TikToker, creator JustANerdyGal, thinks that they have found a hilarious Gordon Ramsay reference that may have been placed in by the clever folk at Larian Studios. While exploring Lady Jannath’s manor, located in the Lower City of Baldur’s Gate in Chapter 3, they decided to check out the kitchen area - as anyone would. While there, they happened upon a chef who was not only shouting abuse at his poor staff but also using a very familiar dialogue as seen frequently with the Hell’s Kitchen star.
“You servedthisto Lady Jannath? It’s RAW!” the infuriated chef can be heard saying after throwing the food across the kitchen, followed by a humbled apology from his terrified staff member, to which he exclaims “I can’t serve apologies, can I? Make it again, andcookit this time!”. Everything certainly points to this enraged Baldur’s Gate 3 chef as a reference to the hot-headed Gordon Ramsay.

One commenter under the video said that in this particular scene it “would be even better if he could fight with you in the final boss fight”, while another talked about their encounter with the apparent Gordon Ramsay chef Easter egg, “Me and my friend came from the other door and bro chucked it at my head!”. Although Larian Studios hasn’t commented on whether this is a funny little reference they’ve placed in tribute to the celebrity cook, at least not yet, it’s fairly obvious that it’s just far too similar for it not to be him! Well played, Larian - well played.
