Baldur’s Gate 3 Player Beats Honor Mode In Incredible Record Time
There are some very creative techniques at play.
For players wanting to bring a whole host of companions alongside them on their adventures, the base game doesn’t offer any solutions. Luckily, the modding community was more than happy to fix the problem in the form of mods like ‘Party Limit Begone’ bySildurFXto increase the party size from 4 all the way to 16.
How To Install ‘Party Limit Begone’ Mod
And you’ve installed the mod! Boot up BG3 usingSteamand load an existing save. If you have a full party, go back to camp and talk to a companion to recruit them to the party and you’ll see theirportraitbe added to the left menu.
The maximum limit of party members is 16 in Single Player mode and 8 in Multiplayer. As the number of portraits grows, you’ll be able to scroll through them by hovering your cursor above the portrait section and scrolling down.

Certain sections of the game (like the boat leading to the Grymforge) cannot be traversed with more than four characters in your party. If this happens, reload the save from an earlier point and reduce your party to four.
One thing to keep in mind is thatcombat encounters in the game are balanced around the player having four party membersat any given time. With a larger party, these encounters can get laughably easy. Consider limiting yourself to a five or six-man party or increasing thedifficultyif you’re losing enjoyment because of the easy fights.
