Gain Access To The Circus Of The Last Days
As you beginAct 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3, you’ll find yourself in a new region calledRivington. Exploring this area, you’ll also encounter two interesting NPCs:Klaus and his ghoul guarding the entrance to the Circle of the Last Days. You’ll need to gain access to this circus, and there aretwo ways of doing it.
Find The Djinn, Akabi
Once you’ve entered the circus, you may participate in themany exciting activities and meet interesting NPCs. To acquire theBand of the Mystic Scoundrel, however, you’ll need to look for a specific NPC calledAkabi, a Djinn, who should be easy to spot given his unique appearance.
Talk to Akabi and agree to play theSpin The Wheel game, where Akabi persuades you to try your luck at a jackpot. During your conversation with Akabi, the game will roll aninsight checkand passing it will reveal that the Djinn has been tricking you, and you’ll never win the jackpot.
The reason Akabi is able to rig his game is due to amagical ring in his possession, and if youpickpocket it from him, your next spin game will land you a jackpot. However, when this happens,Akabi will discover that you’ve cheated in his game, and banish you to a jungle with dinosaurs prowling the area.
Additionally, if you manage tosucceed the insight checkwhile speaking to Akabi, you’re able to straightaway tell him that his act has been unmasked, which will also result in your banishment.
It’s important to note that only theparty member speaking to Akabi will be banishedwith the rest of your party unable to assist you.

Where To Find The Band Of The Mystic Scoundrel?
TheBand of the Mystic Scoundrel is a rare ring, and it can only be found in this new area called theJungle where Akabi banishes you. Escaping this region involves reaching theportal near the end of this region. However, if you leave this area without collecting the ring, you cannot return to this region again, unless you reload your save.
To find theBand of the Mystic Scoundrel, you’ll need tohead south and make a series of jumps to reach a humanoid skeleton. Beside the skeleton is abackpack, which contains the ring.
Also, you canpick up a legendary weapon called Nyrulna near the exit portal.
How Good Is The Band Of The Mystic Scoundrel?
The Band of the Mystic Scoundrel comes with the Illusion Quickening perk that allows its wearer tocast illusion and enchantment spells as a bonus action after hitting an enemy with a weapon. The ring will shine on the finger of ahybrid Paladin classthat has strong action-based damage output.
