Act 1 - Act 3

Quest Details:

The Githyanki Warrior is the questline to helpLae’zelreach her full potential as a Githyanki Warrior. In this quest, she will want you to help her reach the Githyanki and recruit them to help you in your quest.

The reason this quest isn’t higher on the list is because Lae’zel’s interests conflict with wanting to follow a good playthrough. She is so caught up in the lies of her people that she cannot see the truth of matters.

14The Wizard Of Waterdeep

This quest is the overarching quest to helpGale, one of your many followers, reach his full potential. During this quest, you will learn more about him and how he came to be who he is. This is one of the best quests since it does a deep dive into the character.

The more you learn, the more you will begin to see Gale as an asset to your team. The only problem is, he is a ticking time bomb. This quest line can help you stop that and give him a fighting chance at being a hero, meaning it is a great quest.

13The Blade Of The Frontiers

The Blade of the Frontiers is the nickname thatWyllgoes by, and this is his personal quest. In this, you will be helping him come to terms with his past and help him begin to see a future for himself where he isn’t haunted.

Wyll has made a pact with Mizora, a devil. Your job will be to either help him get out of the pact or at least get something useful out of Mizora for his troubles. This quest dives deep into the character, allowing you to learn more about one of the best companions.

12Investigate Kagha

Kagha is probably most players least favorite character from Act 1. She is the one taking over for Halsin while he is away, and the Druids in Emerald Grove need a leader. While her intentionsmightbe for the greater good of the Druids, she goes about it all wrong.

This quest will have youinvestigating Kagha’strue motives while Halsin is away. It seems that Kagha truly believes that she is the best fit for being First Druid, and she will stop at nothing to see herself in that position. You can decide whether to side with her or against her.

11Solve The Open Hand Temple Murders

During your time in Baldur’s Gate, you may stumble upon the Open Hand Temple. There, the head priest was just killed, and the authorities assume that the refugee with him was the murderer. However, one priestess disagrees.

This quest allows you to play detective and help solve a murder case in the city. Along the way, you will uncover a large plot that has been devised by the Bhaal Cult that is running rampant in the city. This quest is a fun little addition to let you switch roles.

10The High Harper

During your adventures in the game, if you play your cards right, you can obtain the followerJaheira. Jaheira is a returning character and is one of the more exciting easter eggs that the game has to offer players.

What makes this quest so amazing is that you will be required to help Jaheira find Minsc. Minsc is another reoccurring character that surprised fans of the original games. This quest lets you meet him and add him to your party.

9The Pale Elf

Astarionis everyone’s favorite blood-sucking vampire, and this quest is his personal quest. During the events of this quest, you will get to understand Astarion more and understand the trauma that hides behind his wicked smile.

8Lift The Shadow Curse

One of the most upsetting aspects of Baldur’s Gate 3 is that you will leave the Shadow-Cursed Lands completely ravaged by the Shadow Curse. As you and your group make your way to Baldur’s Gate, the Shadow Curse is far from your mind.

However, if you stick around in the area and speak to Halsin before heading to Baldur’s Gate, you can work with him tolift the Shadow Curse.After defeating Ketheric Thormand helping Halsin, the land will be free from the curse, and Halsin can leave with you.

7Deal With The Devil

You will meet a devil named Raphael pretty early on in the game.Raphaelis trying to convince you to strike up a bargain with him so that you can become the hero you are destined to be. However, you don’t need his help to achieve this.

It doesn’t matter if you make this deal or not; you can still break into Raphael’s home, The House of Hope. Here, you can find some pretty amazing items that can help you on your journey. You can also destroy your contract with Raphael. This quest is great because it allows you to deal with him.

6Find The Blood Of Lathander

FindThe Blood of Lathanderis the quest that will give you the item, Blood of Lathander. This is one of the best weapons in the game by far, and it can go a long way in ensuring that you have a successful playthrough.

This is such an amazing weapon because anytime you die, you will automatically have your health healed for 2-12 points. (This resets every long rest.) It will also heal those around you when that happens. This is a weapon you don’t want to miss.
